Teyana Taylor’s latest look is a masterpiece.
The singer and actress, 35, stepped out at the SAG Actor Awards 2026 red carpet in a painterly “naked” dress by Thom Browne featuring trompe-l’oeil curves.
The custom design uses the same intarsia technique as Rebecca Hall’s head-turning bodysuit from October’s Academy Museum Gala — the illusion created by over 160 pattern pieces sewn together, per a press release.
For Taylor, the look was rendered on a strapless gown with a sparkling sequined skirt embroidered with 400,000 sequins and 175,000 beads.
She wore her close-cropped hair sleek with smoky eyes and a glossy nude lip, and accessorized with a sparkling diamond necklace and stud earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Taylor is up for outstanding female actor in a supporting role for “One Battle After Another” at Sunday’s ceremony, and her elder daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, 5, joined her on the carpet, adorably fixing her skirt and joining in her interview.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s politically charged thriller, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall and Chase Infiniti, leads all films at the ceremony with a record-breaking seven nominations.
The Harlem-born multi-hyphenate set the awards season tone early when she wore a bedazzled Schiaparelli thong to the Golden Globes in January, turning around onstage to flaunt the crystal-encrusted detail before accepting her trophy for best supporting actress. “The crack is covered in diamonds,” she told E! on the carpet.
At the Critics’ Choice Awards, she showed off a different side of her style in a Saint Laurent menswear look and the same viral thigh-high boots previously spotted on Alexander Skarsgård, Brad Pitt and Pedro Pascal, adding some sparkle to the ensemble with Tiffany & Co. diamonds.
Later in January, she sat front row at Schiaparelli’s couture show in Paris in a see-through lace ensemble and pearl crown, further cementing her status as a fashion maverick.
And, at the BAFTAs last week, Taylor pivoted to a custom plum Burberry trench-coat gown with a face-framing ruffled collar and a 50-carat citrine Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch pinned to the shoulder, making a splash on the carpet even while covering up her famously chiseled figure.
Taylor, who choreographed Beyoncé’s 2006 “Ring the Alarm” music video at just 15-years-old, made waves with her breakout dramatic turn in 2023’s “A Thousand and One” before landing the role of resistance activist Perfidia in “One Battle After Another.”
She also released her fourth studio album, “Escape Room,” last August — earning a Grammy nomination for best R&B album — and is developing her 2027 directorial debut, “Get Lite,” at Paramount.
