If you can’t handle the heat, get off of Temptation Island.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of Netflix’s reality dating series premiering Wednesday, March 12, Grant finds himself hot and bothered by a tempter named Natalie.
“There’s definitely something brewing between Natalie and I,” he says in the clip. “She’s giving me that soft love that I want and she’s beautiful. She’s funny and she’s really smart.”
The only problem is Grant, 28, came onto the show with his girlfriend, Ashley.
“It’s an internal battle I’m dealing with,” he explains. “My heart just wants to be intimate with Natalie and just see what happens, and then my brain is fighting me because I’m worrying about what Ashley might think of this.”
Ashley, also 28, may want to look away as Natalie, 23, begins to question why Grant doesn’t want to get closer to her in the bathroom.
“You’re not joining me in the shower?” she asks.
After a bit of hesitation, Grant begins to strip down to his Hanes underwear as Natalie warns him, “You know these cameras have, like, night vision?”
Ultimately, Grant is already tempted and decides to heat things up with his new love interest.
In the new season of Temptation Island — hosted by Mark L. Walberg — viewers will meet four couples who are at a crossroads in their relationships. They will put their commitments to the ultimate test through emotional challenges and next-level seduction.
Along the way, 24 eligible men and women known as “tempters” will stir up relationship chaos for the four couples, who will have to decide if they want to stay together or go off into the sunset with a new love interest.
Ashley and Grant have been on-again, off-again for a year and a half. According to Netflix, the couple’s dramatic cycle of breaking and making up stems from Grant’s infidelity early in their relationship, giving Ashley major trust issues.
Despite his track record, Grant is determined to demonstrate that he’s a changed man.
“I have given into temptation in the past, but going into this experience, I feel ready to hold up to the temptation,” he shared with Netflix before revealing what he’s attracted to in a woman. “If she can have fun, be adventurous and has a good head on her shoulders at the same time, it’s likely only a matter of time for her to catch my eye.”
