Taylor Swift gave her pal Sabrina Carpenter a special shoutout after the “Espresso” songstress’ surprise performance at Saturday night’s Eras Tour show in New Orleans.
The 14-time Grammy winner took to Instagram Tuesday to commemorate her “three magical nights” at Caesars Superdome with a photo of herself performing alongside Carpenter and more.
“One of the things I’ll always remember from this weekend was getting to surprise the crowd with a performance by the pop princess of our dreams: @sabrinacarpenter,” Swift captioned the lengthy post.
“Side note: She had one day off from her very exhaustive tour schedule,” the “Lover” singer, 34, continued, referring to Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” tour.
“Her show is physically full on and spectacular, and she could’ve been resting in her time off. One of the reasons I respect her so much is that she does things like this, goes out of her way to give fans a surprise moment they didn’t expect.
“She’s as real as they come and I’m so thankful she did that for us.”
The “Taste” singer, 25, sent fans into a frenzy when she joined Swift on stage to sing a mashup of her song “Espresso,” “Please Please Please” and Swift’s 2023 track, “Is It Over Now.”
Ahead of the performance, the “Cruel Summer” singer called Carpenter on the phone to ask why she wasn’t at the concert and if she could get down to the stadium as soon as possible.
“How long would that take you?” Swift asked, to which Carpenter responded, “It would probably take me like five seconds.”
Seconds later, Carpenter rose from a stage trap door.
The “Girl Meets World” star previously performed as the opener for Swift’s recording-breaking tour from August 2023 to March 2024.
The two appeared to have gotten close, as they often dined together and enjoyed social activities while on the road.
Swift, meanwhile, is preparing to wrap up the US leg of her recording-breaking Eras Tour with three nights in Indianapolis from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3.
The pop icon will finish her tour with shows in Canada from Nov. 14 to Dec. 8.
The “Love Story” hitmaker’s shows have recently kept her from supporting beau, Travis Kelce, at Kansas City Chiefs games.
