Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make couple’s debut at glamorous event

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce looked so loved up on Thursday night as they made their couple’s debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Hollywood. The “Cruel Summer” singer walked the red carpet solo in a seafoam green ensemble featuring a boned corset with silver embellishments and a matching miniskirt, which she paired with strappy heels and a pink lip.

Taylor’s fiancé joined her inside the event in a black shirt and brown leather jacket, and stayed by her side throughout the night as she greeted several of her peers. He also put his arm around her and smiled proudly as the show’s host, Ludacris, announced her as the most-awarded artist in iHeartRadio Music Award history.

She has nabbed 34 wins since 2015, and was up for nine awards on Thursday night, making her the year’s most-nominated artist. She was up for Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics, Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia”, Favorite On Screen, Favorite Tour Style, Artist of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year.

Their appearance marked Taylor and Travis’ first-ever awards show appearance as a couple, with the billionaire typically going solo to industry events. It was also Taylor’s first major public outing since the release of her The Life of A Showgirl album in October 2025. She last attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards in person in 2023.

While Taylor has taken a step back from the spotlight in recent months, particularly after she wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024, Travis has signed for a 14th season with his NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs, after much speculation as to whether the 36-year-old was ready to retire.

“Let’s go! Making another run at it, baby, and the Chiefs are making moves, Pat,” he said on The Pat McAfee Show in March, before adding that Taylor inspired his return. “We share the same love for what we do, and we’ve had this…desire,” he continued. “I’m still in love with this game.”

Travis said it was “amazing to see” Taylor “keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies…and on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”

“Yeah, of course that’s motivating,” he added. “That’s motivating for anyone to see, let alone my fiancée, and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out what exactly the future holds for me, something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done either.'”

The lovebirds announced their engagement to the world in August 2025 with a touching social media post that quickly garnered more than 37 million likes on Instagram. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote in the caption, alongside snaps of the pair in Travis’ garden surrounded by hundreds of flowers.

The athlete proposed with an old mine-cut diamond set on a gold band, which he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

“I had shown him a video – I just thought her stuff was so cool,” Taylor shared during an interview with Heart Breakfast. “So I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago, and he was just paying attention to everything, it turns out, because when I saw the ring I [gasped]…I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, ‘you listen to me!'”
