Taylor Frankie Paul has filed for a temporary restraining order against Dakota Mortensen, accusing her ex of assault, harassment and stalking, Page Six has learned.
In the petition — which the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star filed in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Tuesday — she alleged that Mortensen assaulted her in her home, which “left noticeable bruising on various parts of her body,” on March 2025.
Per the TRO filing, which was obtained by Page Six, Paul had “demanded” that Mortensen leave her home, and when he “refused,” their argument “escalated.”
“Taylor lost her footing, at which time Dakota proceeded to kick her while she was on the floor,” the document alleged.
On Feb. 14, 2026, after their relationship had allegedly already ended, Paul claimed Mortensen “tattooed [her] initials to the inside of his lip and sent [her] a photo of this,” which allegedly traumatized Paul.
According to the petition, Mortensen later “bombard[ed]” Paul with text messages “in an unwelcome attempt to resume their relationship” — behavior she branded “possessive and controlling.”
Paul also accused Mortensen of showing up to her house in the early morning hours of Feb. 22, 2026, and “confronting [her] over her decision to break off the relationship.
“Taylor made multiple requests to [Mortensen] that he leave her home. He refused,” the filing alleged, claiming Mortensen eventually left but returned later that night, which “put [Paul] in fear of abuse.”
The argument continued early the next day, as Mortensen allegedly came back to Paul’s home and “demanded to again speak with Taylor about their relationship.”
Per the document, Paul claimed she agreed to speak with Mortensen outside to not wake up the three sleeping children — including Ever, the 2-year-old they share — inside.
“They each entered the front seat of his truck, and Dakota drove away despite Taylor’s objections (she did not want to leave her children unattended),” the peition alleged.
“The parties argued, and Dakota assaulted Taylor by slamming her head against the dashboard of his truck and striking her knee and elbow.”
The TRO request contains multiple photos of injuries Paul sustained as a result of the alleged assaults.
“Mine and Dakota’s relationship has been tumultuous, with several periods in which we have argued or outright broken up. The fact that our relationship was over finally dawned on Dakota in February 2026, which led him to take actions that scared me and made me fear for my safety,” Paul claimed in the petition.
“For the most part, our co-parenting dynamic has functioned adequately. Recently, however, in an effort to sabotage my career, Dakota filed a protective order against me on March 19, 2026.”
