Tamra Judge is giving an update about her and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod amid her co-host’s brain tumor diagnosis.

Shortly after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, revealed that she was undergoing surgery to remove multiple brain tumors, Judge, 57, got emotional as she explained that Mellencamp, 43, would be taking time off to recover on the Feb. 12 episode of Two T’s in a Pod.

“Maybe some of you have seen Teddi’s Instagram Stories,” she tearfully said, referring to Mellencamp’s announcement. “If not, I just want our listeners to know that she will be taking a brief sabbatical to deal with some health stuff. I’ll allow Teddi to tell her story when she’s back, but you all know how much she loves this podcast and wants nothing more than for us to continue on recording.”

“While she focuses on her health, we want to thank your continued love and support,” Judge, who is currently filming season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, added. “It’s been a tough night.”

Mellencamp also shared a prerecorded message before the episode began.

“Hi, guys. Welcome to another episode of Two T’s in a Pod,” she said. “I am fine. I’ve been having — as you guys have heard if you listen to the pod — I’ve been having a headache for over two weeks. And I ended up going into the hospital yesterday because the headache was so bad right after I filmed the pod, and they found that I have two brain tumors that need to be removed, which are getting done today, or if you’re listening, which I’ve gotten done today. And then I have three more smaller tumors that will most likely need to be removed with radiation.”

She continued: “The only reason I’m even sharing this is because I don’t want speculation on anything additional going on that isn’t fact, and this is fact. And I feel really grateful that I’ve been able to have a conversation with my kids about this, that I’m sitting in the hospital with Edwin and my friends, and I’m feeling ready and positive for surgery. Stay tuned.”

Mellencamp took to her social media to document the moments leading up to the surgery later that day, showing her ex-husband Edwin Arroyave, former RHOBH costar Kyle Richards and country singer Morgan Wade all there to support her. In his own post, Arroyave shared a photo of him with Mellencamp as she laid in the hospital bed, along with a prayer.

“Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise,” the caption read. “Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Despite Mellencamp filing for divorce in November, Arroyave proved that the two were still on good terms. In one clip on his Instagram Stories, he told one of their three children that he’d be sleeping in the hospital for the night.

“Are you gonna watch mama because she doesn’t like sleeping alone?” their daughter wondered before Arroyave told her, “Thanks for visiting us.”
