Sydney Sweeney is painting the town red ahead of the holidays.
The actress, 28, stepped out in two monochromatic looks in New York City on Monday while promoting her upcoming psychological thriller âThe Housemaid.â
Sweeney kicked off her ruby-hued day at a taping of âThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,â where she slipped into a cranberry-colored satin midi dress by Australian designer Alex Perry. The body-skimming number featured long sleeves, a bateau neckline, and a sash draped across her hips.
She paired the burgundy design with matching red pumps and bundled up against Decemberâs chill in a vintage D&G coat.
Later that evening, the âWhite Lotusâ alum, who works with celebrity stylist Molly Dickson, emerged in Soho wearing a fire-engine red ensemble for dinner at The Corner Store.
This time, she went for a festive custom Patou look: a vibrant red cropped jacket with a shoulder-grazing collar paired with a bubble-hem miniskirt. She styled the coordinated set with knee-high Magda Butrym boots and black sunglasses.
Sweeneyâs hairstylist, Glen Coco, gave the actress a sleek blowout, switching up her blond bob from the Old Hollywood waves sheâs favored recently.
The back-to-back monochrome moments come as Sweeney ramps up press for âThe Housemaid,â which hits theaters Dec. 19.
In the film â based on Freida McFaddenâs 2022 bestselling novel â she stars as Millie, an ex-convict who lands a job as a live-in maid for a wealthy couple played by Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar, only to discover their seemingly perfect life hides dark secrets.
The Paul Feig-directed thriller also adds another producing credit to Sweeneyâs resume. She serves as an executive producer alongside Seyfried and author McFadden.
For her âTonight Showâ appearance, Sweeney chatted with Fallon about the upcoming third season of âEuphoria,â teasing that her characterâs storyline will focus on âself-discovery.â
She also participated in a game of âWhatâs Behind Me?â and shared details about her recent âShreksgivingâ celebration with friends.
