Flaxen haired film star Sydney Sweeney is facing some double-D sized trouble after she was seen climbing all over the famous Hollywood sign apparently without permission as part of a promotional stunt for her new lacey bra line, a report said.
The buxom âEuphoriaâ actress was seen smiling ear-to-ear as she draped her multi-colored unmentionables all over the LA icon â but while she had permission to film at the sign, she didnât have the OK to touch it or festoon it with underwear, according to TMZ, which had video of the act.
âThere was no permission granted to do this as is required,â the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told the outlet, which said her permit from FilmLA only allowed video shooting at the sign on Mt. Lee in the Santa Monica Mountains.
In a clip of racy deed, the 28-year-old is seen placing a bras on the letter H, and later climbing to the top of the letters to string a clothesline of bras.
Sources claimed to the outlet that the move was to promote the âHousemaidâ starâs new lingerie line, which is backed by billionaire Jeff Bezos.
Page Six has reached out to the LAPD, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Sweeneyâs reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Last July, news surfaced that the âAnyone But Youâ actress was launching a lingerie line, backed by Bezos and his wife, Lauren SĂĄnchez.
âThis has been a huge project for her and something sheâs been working on for the last year,â an insider told Us Weekly at the time.
The previous month, Sweeney was one of many A-listers to attend the Amazon founder and SĂĄnchezâs lavish wedding in Venice, Italy.
The actress even spent time with Orlando Bloom and Tom Brady during the nuptials.
This latest advertising-related kerfuffle for Sweeney comes after she came under fire for an American Eagle jeans brand partnership last summer.
The campaign, called âSydney Sweeney has great jeans,â sparked a debate about race and beauty standards.
