The Sweet Magnolias cast are pouring it out after the Netflix hit was unexpectedly canceled after five seasons.
“All grand adventures must eventually end , and here, dear friends, is where ours does,” a Friday, September 18, statement shared via the show’s official Instagram page read. “ Sweet Magnolias is now complete with five seasons streaming on Netflix.”
Sweet Magnolias , based on author Sherryl Woods ’ bestselling book series of the same name, followed the lives of three best friends ( Joanna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley ) in the small town of Serenity, South Carolina.
