Sutton Foster has rung in a milestone birthday.
The actress turned 50 on March 18 and she celebrated the occasion with a gorgeous beachside selfie that showcased her au naturel beauty.
She fronted a bare face with a laid-back gray sweatshirt and wore her brunette in its natural state, straight and parted in the middle. Behind Foster was a pastel sunset and rolling ocean waves.
“Oh hey 50,” she wrote.

Foster may love a pared-down look, but she also doesn’t shy away from glamming up, like she did for New York Fashion Week this past September.
For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, the Younger actress stepped out for the Michael Kors show in a monochromatic navy ensemble that featured a knit turtleneck dress. She also wore brown leather boots and a matching purse.
This past January, she dressed up in a black blazer and sparkly gown for the opening night of Hugh Jackman’s From New York, with Love show at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City, as seen in photos obtained exclusively by PEOPLE.
Others in attendance at the show to support Jackman, 56, included his longtime friend and costar, Ryan Reynolds — who even made a surprise appearance in the crowd for an impromptu “Hugh & A” session — as well as Deadpool & Wolverine director, Shawn Levy.
In addition to celebrating a big birthday, Foster has been reaching new heights in her career.
In February, it was announced that the Tony winner will be playing Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner’s Daughter, a new musical in development about the country icon’s music and life. Earlier this year it was also revealed that she will narrate a new series of Pippi Longstocking audiobooks to be published by Listening Library this spring, in honor of late author Astrid Lindgren’s 80th birthday.
