Paige DeSorbo is thriving in her relationship with boyfriend Joe D’Amelio.
“Yes, we’re exclusive,” DeSorbo, 33, told Us Weekly exclusively at Actors Rising Presented by The Actor Awards and ELLE on Thursday, February 26. “I’m in my 30s, so it’s not like I’m out every single weekend going out on multiple dates like I would have been in my 20s.”
DeSorbo, who is the Actors Awards Pre-Show host, described her relationship with D’Amelio as “really fun” and “very relaxing,” teasing the perks of dating an Italian man.
“I feel like they get a reputation that they’re not quiet,” she told Us, “but they’re quiet — and I appreciate that.”
She continued: “Like, they know when to speak and when not to and I like that. That’s important. It’s important [for] a man to know when to shut it.”
The best part of her new romance has been keeping it out of the public eye. (The Summer House alum previously dated Southern Charm’s Craig Conover from 2021 to 2024.)
“It was such a balancing act,” she noted to Us. “I feel like when I was on reality TV — I started when I was 25 — it feels very, like, that was my 20s. Obviously, I’m in charge of my own decisions and stuff 1772225521. So it’s nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don’t [with] personal stuff.”
DeSorbo joined Summer House in 2019, announcing her exit from the Bravo hit in 2025. Us confirmed her relationship with D’Amelio last summer.
“Paige has been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio for a while now, and things between them are going really well,” a source told Us at the time. “It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy.”
The insider continued: “She’s in a totally different headspace now. Joe is a breath of fresh air for her. He’s calm, grounded and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed.”
Before moving on with D’Amelio, DeSorbo broke the news of her split from Conover, 37, on her “Giggly Squad” podcast.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends,” she said in December 2024. “No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
DeSorbo hoped she and Conover could still be on good terms.
“I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” she added. “I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us.”
