If you become friends with Stevie Nicks, you may receive a nice blanket.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the former Fleetwood Mac singer revealed she has a knack for giving blankets as gifts â and did so for her pal Taylor Swiftâs boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Nicks, 76, referenced the gesture as she opened up about feeling âreally gladâ to be home following an extensive tour, so she can âwork on an albumâ and take part in other enjoyable activities.
âI havenât been able to do a lot of the creative things that I love in many, many years. I draw, I write songs, and I write poetry. Iâd like to make a perfume because I actually have a smell that I love,â she said.
The Grammy winner added, âI like to design blankets. Cashmere blankets are my favorite thing. That is what I buy for my friends if thereâs a special occasion. I bought Travis Kelce a blanket.â
Her penchant for blankets stems from a time she hung out with two fellow musicians. âDon Henley and J.D. Souther took me into a store in Los Angeles called Maxfield Blue, now Maxfield, in 1977,â she said. âAnd they took me there, and I got my first cashmere blanket. I always laugh and say, âThey taught me how to spend money,â those two guys.â
Elsewhere in the interview, Nicks spoke about her fondness for Swift, who gave the âLandslideâ performer a friendship bracelet. âI havenât taken it off for almost a year,â she said.
âShe is really smart, but she also went through a lot before,â added Nicks of Swift, 34. âSheâs in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man.â
Regarding the two starsâ relationship, the âRhiannonâ musician expressed hopes they fall âdeeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.â
âHe does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her,â she said.
Travisâ brother Jason previously hinted at a collaboration with Nicks for an upcoming Christmas album, which Rolling Stone confirmed in the new profile.
For his third holiday effort, Jason will release A Philly Special Christmas Party (out Nov. 29) with former teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, a feature from Boyz II Men and production by Charlie Hall of the War on Drugs.
