Like many reality TV fans, Stassi Schroeder was shook when she saw photos of Jax Taylor getting cozy with publicist Lori Krebs.
“What do you think of Jax now sleeping with his publicist? Dude! It’s like Scandoval all over again,” Stassi, 38, shared on the Friday, July 31, episode of the “It Girl” podcast. “This s*** is crazy.”
Last month, pictures surfaced of Jax, 47, and Lori visiting the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. At the time, a source revealed to Us that Jax’s estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, ended her working relationship with Lori after the photos surfaced. (Lori repped both Jax and Brittany, 37, for several years.)
“I feel so bad for Brittany,” Stassi shared. “I am eating this all up the same way I’m eating up the Summer House drama. It’s so believable because he’s a horrible person, but like, that publicist? I always knew she was bad news. I always knew it. I felt it. … I have really good instincts, I feel like, when it comes to shady people.”
While Stassi may not know any inside details about Jax’s new relationship, the former Vanderpump Rules star wouldn’t be surprised if this romance goes the distance.
“Honestly, I guess they’re right for each other,” she claimed. “I hope they get married and I hope it lasts.”
Stassi and Jax dated during the first season of Vanderpump Rules in 2013, but had an explosive breakup soon after. She married Beau Clark in 2020 and is now documenting her life on Hulu’s new reality show House of Stassi.
“What was your last conversation with Jax? I couldn’t even tell you,” Stassi said. “I haven’t talked to him in five years it feels like, since before my wedding.”
Although Lori has not publicly spoken out about her relationship status, Jax seemingly confirmed he is off the market when an Instagram user suggested he become ABC’s next Bachelor. He responded, “No thanks, I am taken. ❤️.”
As for Brittany, she is gathering her thoughts before speaking out publicly.
“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” Brittany — who welcomed son Cruz with Jax in 2021 — said on the July 17 episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. And as of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace and very soon I will be telling [my story].”
According to a source, Jax and Lori’s relationship developed “over the past several months” after they “grew closer while supporting one another through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.”
“What began as a longstanding friendship gradually evolved into a relationship,” the insider shared. “There was never a romantic relationship before that, despite years of speculation.”
