Responding directly, Stacey explained why she felt compelled to speak out. “So many of you have messaged me so I thought I’m just going to have to come on and say something,” she said. “I know you’re asking me this because of the massive pile-on I’ve had from the press over the past three months… about myself and Joe and our family.”

Shutting down the speculation, Stacey didn’t hold back. “It’s nonsense,” she added, explaining that many of the stories circulating are either “outright made-up lies” or recycled information that has already been publicly shared.

She reiterated the truth behind her wedding, clarifying that she and Joe had always been open about their plans. “I said we were not getting legally married and having a religious blessing and ceremony at home in front of our friends and family – and we’ll get legally married at a later point.”

Stacey also addressed recent commentary about her being seen without her wedding ring, something that had sparked further rumours. “Anyone who knows me knows that I haven’t worn my engagement ring for years,” she said, explaining that she avoids wearing it regularly out of fear of losing it.

However, the ongoing scrutiny has clearly taken its toll. “I feel like it’s getting to the point where I’m being hounded for absolutely no reason,” she admitted. “Like I’m in my ‘let’s tear her down era’. You almost accept it in this weird way because you know they do it to so many people.”

The situation, she revealed, has escalated beyond online speculation. Stacey claimed that people had been “doorstepping my sister’s neighbours asking for information about us,” adding: “The whole thing is nuts. It feels like harassment, genuinely.”

She went on to admit that the attention has left her feeling “uncomfortable” and even “paranoid,” with concerns about being followed.

Despite the ordeal, Stacey ended on a note of gratitude, thanking her supporters for their kindness. Sharing messages she had received, she told fans their support meant everything during a difficult time.
