Sofia Carson took glam to the next level at the 2025 SAG Awards.
On Sunday, Feb. 23, the actress, 31, walked the red carpet at Los Angelesâ Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in a look fitting of Old Hollywood. Carson exuded elegance in a sculptural peony pink gown from the Elie Saab spring/summer 2025 Haute Couture Collection. The ensemble featured an asymmetric neckline and sweeping shoulder train.
The real show-stopper was Carsonâs dazzling stacked Chopard diamond necklace. The piece featured 12.37-carat round-shaped white diamond and an additional 76.11-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold from Chopardâs Haute Joaillerie Collection. The actress also wore a ring featuring a 10-carat oval-shaped white diamond and additional diamonds set in 18k white gold from the Garden of Kalahari Collection.
Carson wore her dark hair in a sleek updo with a dramatic side part and kept her makeup soft and subtle.
Carson is serving as an ambassador at this yearâs ceremony alongside fellow actor Noah Centineo.
They both âexemplify the utmost values of the acting profession, serve as positive role models for the next generation of performers, and actively use their platform to advocate for humanitarian and public service endeavors,â according to a press release.
Carson, who has been a star for years, worked on her first action film Carry-On with Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman just last year. The film, released in December 2024, is now streaming on Netflix. Carson plays the fearless character Nora, who is the head of operations at LAX.Â
âThe beauty is that thereâs such comedy woven throughout it, which makes it so fun and so entertaining,â Carson told PEOPLE last year.
Carson originally got her start on the Disney Channel (including in the networkâs popular Descendants franchise). Carson then took on the role of Cassie in Netflixâs Purple Hearts opposite Nicholas Galitzine.Â
During Carsonâs PEOPLE StyleWatch cover shoot in December, the actress said, âI love creating a moment out of every time I step onto a carpet.âÂ
When it comes to fashion, Carson said she takes style cues from Audrey Hepburn and Angelina Jolie. Despite people asking her to be âsexierâ or âcooler,â Carson has stayed true to herself and her style.
âThere is such power in embracing absolute femininity, and I love being able to do that often,â Carson told PEOPLE.Â
Carsonâs most recent film The Life List (with Connie Britton) will premiere on Netflix March 28 while the actress is also set to film My Oxford Year, an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Julia Whelan.Â
The UNICEF Ambassador also recently joined Andrea Bocelli on his latest album, Duets â 30th Anniversary. Carson told PEOPLE that singing âWhite Christmasâ â which she called âmy favorite Christmas ballad everâ â with the Italian tenor was âjust the greatest joy.â
