Society flack had security escort Curtis Sliwa’s sister away from swanky Halloween ball

Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa already has one problem to solve shall he win the election on Nov. 4: ensuring his older sister is on the list.

Sliwa’s “emotional healer” sibling, Aleta St. James, 77, arrived to Leesa Rowland and Larry Wohl’s Midnight At the Met Masquerade Ball — where guests were encouraged to “dress like it’s your last day of your life” — the Chelsea Industrial on Friday night, only to be told to kick rocks by “very rude” society flack, Norah Lawlor, a spy told Page Six.

A source told us St. James was invited as a plus one, but had failed to reply to an email to officially add her name to the RSVP list.

“Norah kept asking her her name, and she said, ‘You’re not on the list.’ She was really rude in front of everyone, and kept snapping at security to ‘escort her out,’” the spy claimed.

We’re told St. James even used her surname, suggesting “maybe it’s under Sliwa,” which sparked one person in line to say it’s the Guaridan Angels founder’s’ sister, but no dice. “Norah was so mean. She told security to ‘escort her out now!’ Security even thought it was ridiculous. They were trying not to laugh,” our source said.

Lawlor insisted she had no idea who St. James was and that “the individual turned away did not show any proof that she received an RSVP for the event.”

“We could not identify her as she would not give her name and as a consquence could not admit her,” Lawlor told Page Six.

Lawlor, who counts socialite Jean Shafiroff as one of her clients, further insisted, “it was not about politics. It was about event protocol and respect for the client’s guest list.”

Another source told us St. James did not show an email or text. “Norah has a reputation for running a tight door and she wasn’t able to prove she was invited. She was not in costume. It wasn’t personal,” they said.

St. James did not comment.

Rowland and Wohl’s Halloween bash, which Lawlor says has grown in popularity each year, was produced by Hank Stampfl’s Revel Rouge Events. Sandra Ripert, Marc Bauer, Anna Rothschild, Noreen Donovan, Carmen D’Alessio, Dr. Dendy Engelman, Lauren Day Roberts and R. Couri Hay, were among the VIPs partaking in the spooky fun.

Curtis Sliwa is one of three remaining mayoral candidates in the tense race to Gracie Mansion, though he has been under heavy pressure to drop out to make it a two-horse race between Andrew Cuomo and heavy favorite Zohran Mamdani. Election Day is November 4.
