Snoop Dogg sends love to daughter Cori Broadus after she announced death of baby girl

Snoop Dogg sent love to his daughter, Cori Broadus, after she announced the death of her 10-month-old baby girl, Codi.

On Saturday, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shared a photo of himself with three of his four children: Cori, 26, and sons Corde Broadus, 31, and Cordell Broadus, 28. (Snoop is also dad to son Julian Broadus, 27.)

“💖🙏🏾,” he captioned the post.

Several fans took to the comments section of Snoop’s post with their condolences as the family deals with the tragic passing of Codi.

“Sending my love to you all,” wrote one user.

“Sending prayers and love, I am so sorry,” added another.

“My prayers and thoughts goes out to you and your family 🤲🏾🕊️,” commented a third person.

“Sending love and positive energy to the whole family 🙏🏽,” said a fourth netizen.

The 16-time Grammy nominee’s post came after Cori announced her baby girl had died 10 months after she was born prematurely last February.

“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Saturday alongside a black-and-white photo of her cradling the infant in a hospital.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also grieved the passing of their daughter online.

“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote atop a photo of himself embracing the infant. “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. My baby.”

Last month, Cori shared that she was finally allowed to bring her baby home after 10 months in the NICU.

“She’s home. 🤍,” the new mom captioned an Instagram carousel of herself snuggling the baby in bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨.”

In February 2025, Cori announced that she had given birth to Codi via C-section six months early.

At the hospital, Cori shared that doctors told her she had developed HELLP Syndrome, a pregnancy complication that affects the liver and blood system.

She claimed that if she “would’ve waited a few more days it would’ve been really bad.”
