Heidi Gardner has a unique proposition for the Kansas City Chiefs!

The Saturday Night Live star, 41, revealed on the Feb. 13 episode of SiriusXM’s Casuals with Katie Nolan podcast, that she would happily volunteer to be the team’s official “big sister.”

“I’ve told [Chiefs General Manager] Brett Veach, so many times — this isn’t something I would charge for; this is volunteer work — if you need a big sister to come to the game, hug, give Gatorades, pep talks,” Gardner, a lifelong Chiefs fan from Kansas City, jokingly said.

She continued: “I’ve DM’d players that had plays that people are famously like, ‘Oh, that lost the game or something.’ And I’ve written them and [said], ‘I hope you know, like, you are so amazing and you were doing everything you could for your team to win.’ ”

The comedian also revealed that she writes notes to the Chiefs on Google Calendar.

“I could show you my phone,” she told Nolan. “Anytime there’s a Chiefs game, I put it in my G-cal, a message that I’ve written to the Chiefs for each game, that’s just like, ‘Have fun out there. I’m so proud of you guys. I love you.’ “

Gardner shared that her messages even sometimes extend beyond Google.

“At the hotels that I have stayed at in the cities where the Super Bowls are — in the shower, on the glass, in the steam — I will write so many messages to the Chiefs. Like, in an insane way, so that it’s just plastered on the walls. ‘Chiefs, I love you. Chiefs, be yourselves. Remember to be yourselves,’ ” she said.

Gardner is often vocal about her love of her home team — and recently revealed that she petitioned SNL creator Lorne Michaels to have Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce host the show for years.

“The biggest swing I ever did in [the host recruitment] department — and it did work —  but it took a couple years, was Travis Kelce,” Gardner said while appearing on the Dec. 3 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

However, she explained that Michaels told her that Kelce had to “win the Super Bowl” before he could host. “I was like, ‘That is so much pressure to ask!’ And then he won the Super Bowl!” Gardner said.

During a May 3 appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, the SNL star said she was “very protective” of Kelce when he hosted in March 2023.

“I was very protective,” Gardner explained. “I asked him questions, which also, as a sports fan, I’m just interested in, but I was like, ‘On game day, what do you eat?’ And he was like, ‘Uncrustables. I’m just pounding Uncrustables.’ ”

This, she revealed, prompted her to go out and buy him a supply of the snack food. “I was like, ‘I want this to feel as much like home as it can,’ ” she said.

New episodes of Casuals with Katie Nolan drop every Tuesday and Thursday on all major podcast platforms.
