Saturday Night Live playfully mocked some of the biggest trends and influencers on TikTok.

On the latest SNL episode on Oct. 19 — hosted by Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton and featuring musical guest Billie Eilish — a sketch about doomscrolling on TikTok included parodies of influencers like Keith Lee, Alex Cooper and Harry Daniels.

The sketch, which was set up to look like TikTok’s For You page, opens with a parody of a creator promoting a product on the TikTok shop before switching to a parody of Keith Lee’s food reviews. In the clip, Lee (played by Kenan Thompson) reviews the fictional “hennessy habanero Fruity Pebbles chicken sandwich” from an Atlanta restaurant in Lee’s iconic review style.

The sketch then switches to a parody of creators such as Nara Smith and Gretchen Adler’s cooking videos, with the caption, “Life as a Tradwife.” In the clip, the pregnant “tradwife” shares her recipe for “beef tacos,” where she explains that she “slaughtered the cow and picked the corn myself.”

Later, the TikTok feed scrolls to a parody of Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, who introduces her latest podcast episode, which features dating advice and an interview with the Secretary of Homeland Security.

The highlight of the TikTok sketch comes up shortly after with two parody videos of TikToker Harry Daniels singing to Vice President Kamala Harris and former U.S. President Donald Trump. In the first clip, Daniels (played by Bowen Yang) goes up to the Democratic presidential nominee and sings a rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” as Harris (played by Maya Rudolph) responds, “thank you, that was singing,” before walking out of the frame.

In the second clip, Daniels approaches Trump (played by James Austin Johnson) and sings a rendition of Blink 182’s “I Miss You,” to which he responds, “that was really bad, didn’t like that at all” before walking away.

The sketch concluded with one more parody of Daniels, where he sings Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes” to SNL‘s musical guest Billie Eilish. Before he can get through the whole song though, Eilish gives him a wad of cash and asks him to “please stop following me.”

Daniels took to TikTok to post his reaction to the parodies on Oct. 20. “They parodied me on SNL down to the ‘period,'” he wrote over the video, adding, “I’m crying, that was so funny.” In the caption, he also wrote, “very gagged, it’s an honor.”
