The sky’s the limit for Skai Jackson in her next chapter as a mom.
The Disney Channel alum has embraced many new milestones after welcoming her first child, a baby boy named Kasai, in January.
“There’s so many favorite moments,” Skai, 22, exclusively told E! News on the Essence Black Women in Hollywood red carpet Feb. 27. “I feel like just seeing my baby every day.”
The Jessie actress continued, “It’s just an amazing moment seeing them grow each day by each day.”
Though her motherhood journey is still just beginning, Skai has already learned some vital lessons. As the Shereos star told E!, “I’ve learned just how strong I am in this process of being a young mom.”
And while Skai’s admits it can be “a lot” for her to balance motherhood with her career—recently made her red carpet return at the NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors on Feb. 21 and hosted a Young, Gifted, & Black panel—she is up for the challenge.
