Kody Brown is adjusting to a life of monogamy.
As his ex-wife Christine Brown prepared to wed her now-husband David Woolley on the latest Sister Wives episode, Kody reflected on what his life now looks like being married to only Robyn Brown. In addition to Christine leaving him in 2021, his first wife Meri Brown and second wife Janelle Brown also chose to end their spiritual marriages in the months that followed.
Kody, who was preparing to cut down trees blocking the view of the mountain near his shared home with Robyn, happily declared to the cameras: âIâm a monogamist now!â
âSo thereâs a new rule that Robyn made and because Iâm a monogamist, my wife gets to make rules, right?â Kody, 55, continued. âSo sheâs like, âDonât drop a tree until youâve removed the last tree you dropped.'â
A producer did, however, ask to see how he was feeling about Christine heading down the aisle again. âIâm really excited for her. Iâve only met David once, and everything that I can gather is itâs moved pretty fast, but sometimes you just know,â he said.
âI hope theyâre happy,â he continued. âAnd I hope someday the time comes where weâre just comfortable being around each other.â

Kody then noted that Christine, 52, âleft with a purposeâ as she âwanted to find her soul mate.â He added, âIt is weird because you know sheâs my ex-wife but itâs like thatâs none of my business anymore and itâs more like kudos.â
Following his three back-to-back divorces, Kody said there is now âa lot of water under the bridge and it wasnât all bad.â He then explained that itâs still been âtoughâ on him because his life in polygamy was âmostly good.â However, the Brown family patriarch, who is estranged from several of his children, is shifting his focus toward his future with Robyn and their kids.
âItâs like itâs a real different world, the world that I have with Robyn and our children. Itâs kind, itâs pleasant, itâs beautiful. Itâs small,â he said in a confessional, continuing to note how heâs adjusting to his new normal, âI got to admit this. I think I need a lot of attention. Itâs been different to be in a place where I donât get as much attention.â
âBut my children will always be my children and the door will always be open to them. Theyâve got to come through that door,â he said. âIâm going to be holding a hand out for that, but Iâm going to be holding this hand thatâs next to me, and I wonât let go of that hand. I will not cut off Robyn to have a relationship with my children.â
