Rumer Willis once again clapped back at parenting criticism with a video of herself breastfeeding her 3-year-old daughter, Louetta.
The actress, who shares her daughter with ex Derek Richard Thomas, took to Instagram Saturday to share the clip that read, âWhen someone starts judging my parenting.â
The sweet clip then transitioned to the viral video of a woman drawing two circles on a whiteboard and saying, âThis is my business,â pointing to one circle, âAnd this is yours,â while pointing to a second.
âI am here,â she continued, referring to the first circle. âThe problem is, you are also here,â she added, pointing to the same circle before drawing a line to the second circle.
âWhen you need to be here,â the woman concluded.
Rumer, 37, welcomed Louetta with Thomas in 2023.
Itâs unclear when the exes started dating, but the âWild Cherryâ star confirmed their whirlwind romance with PDA-filled snaps in November 2022.
The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore announced she and the musician had parted ways in August 2024 when a fan asked her via Instagram if they were still together.
âNope I am single momming it and co-parenting,â she said.
At the time, the âHostageâ star expressed her gratitude for her daughter, saying, âShe is the best thing in my life and I am forever grateful I was able to have the time in that relationship for her to come into my life.â
Rumer has since detailed being a single mom and recently shared a video of herself breaking down in tears while walking in the woods.
âJust had a good cry in the woods⊠some days being a single mom is hard,â she wrote over the clip. âShe is not hard (ever) but some days doing everything alone can be.â
The âWild Cherryâ star also denied receiving financial support from her famous parents on Instagram in February after posting a video of her ânever-endingâ to-do list, which included chores, self-care activities and taking care of her daughter.
âI work four different jobs to provide for my daughter,â she wrote via her Stories at the time. âI am the sole provider for [my 2-year-old]. I donât live off a trust fund or get money from my parents. Most of the time I donât have help with her. So how about yâall pause before you judge and assume.â
Rumer stated she was âvery awareâ of her âprivileges in lifeâ and doesnât live life âtreating family support as a backup plan.â
