Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens received a special gift from the Chicago Bulls!Â
The Olympian, 27, and NFL player, 29, appeared to have been gifted a pair of matching jerseys with their names on them during the Bullsâ most recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the United Center in Chicago on Thursday, Nov. 7.
In a video posted to the Bullsâ Instagram, the teamâs mascot, Benny the Bull, could be seen giving the pair the matching Bulls jerseys during the game. The couple could be seen saying âthank you,â in the clip, before holding their new jerseys up for photos. The mascot even slipped big gold chains around their necks with the Bullsâ logo hanging from them.Â
The bright red Bulls jerseys featured the athletesâ last names in black letters above the number 36 â which is also Owensâ number in the NFL while playing for the Chicago Bears.Â
âa GOAT, a Bear, and a Bull âĄïž,â the Bulls captioned the post.
The four-time gold medalist has been a huge supporter of Chicago sports since she began dating the football player. Sheâs attended numerous games of his while decked out in Bears-themed outfits.
During her appearance at Owensâ Bears game on Sept. 29, she even posted a sweet video on her Instagram Stories the same day, showing the pair sharing a kiss before he headed inside the stadium with his team. Biles added a âđ€đ»â at the top of the photo in a cute reference to her husband.
The NFL player has shown his support for his wife, too, traveling with her during her Gold Over America Tour during his break with the NFL. In October, Biles posted sweet moments on her Instagram Stories of her husband interacting with other gymnasts on the tour including Paul Juda and Yul Moldauer and even trying his hand at a pair of gymnastics bars.
Biles jokingly wrote over her Oct. 18 Instagram Stories video of her husbands efforts, âShould we add him to the cast?â
In other sweet Instagram posts, she has also shared just how lucky she was to have found Owens, including one containing photos that appeared to be of the two during Bilesâ Gold Over America Tour Milwaukee stop, where he had surprised her with a visit. âStruck gold with this one đ«¶đŸ.â Biles captioned the cute post.
Owens told PEOPLE in July, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, that supporting one another is an important element of their relationship.
âI love watching [it] from an athleteâs perspective because thatâs how youâd be great in any sport, is just being consistent and doing the same thing consistently good every day,â he said. âYou know what I mean? I love to watch it and I love to be out there and be a cheerleader.â
