Meghan Markle was stunned when Prince Harry joked she would sing during Monday’s Invictus Games 2025 event.
The annual competition kicked off with Michael Bublé singing his famed song, “Feeling Good,” before he introduced the Duke of Sussex to the stage in Whistler, Canada.
“Thank God Michael Bublé sang. Can you imagine bringing Michael Bublé out here and he says, ‘You know, I didn’t come here to sing.’ I’m like, ‘Well, why are you here?’” Harry joked, according to a video posted on X.
The red-headed royal, 40, then thanked the wounded, injured and sick military service personnel, both serving and veterans, participating in the games before expressing his gratitude to Whistler for hosting them.
Before concluding his speech, Harry invited his wife to join him on stage much to the crowd’s delight.
“Come here,” Harry said, energetically motioning Markle to the podium.
The former “Suits” actress, dressed in a white puffer coat and a black hat, smiled and waved to the audience as cheers erupted.
“And now, she’s going to sing,” Harry announced as Markle’s jaw dropped.
Mortified and waving her hands “no,” she quickly turned away in embarrassment.
The two, who were caught in a fit of laughter, then exited the stage after thanking the audience for attending.
“Thank you everybody,” Markle, 43, said with a big smile. “Have the best time.”
The couple could then be seen laughing again backstage before Harry motioned Markle to move further into the wing.
Following Harry’s cheeky prank on Markle, social media users were entertained by her reaction.
“This is so cute! I love it, such joy & the love for everyone in Whistler seems to be a proper vibe 🥰🥰,” one person wrote on X.
“The look of shock on her face was adorable ❤️🥰,” a second fan said.
“I love the part When he called on his wife and he said she is gonna sing and she was like awwwwhh🥺,” a third chimed in.
“Meghan shocked face 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰I just love her for Harry. They are so good together. Harry is going to give Meghan a heart attack,” another joked.
Markle and Harry — who share son Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3 — have been showing plenty of affection since the games began this weekend.
