Sharon Stone looked worlds away from her usual self as she visited SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Wednesday, with the star sparking plastic surgery speculation thanks to her youthful new look.

The 68-year-old stepped out in a bright red jacket, a black shirt and khaki trousers with a brown belt and red heels. She completed the look with dangly earrings, a pink lip and a wavy blonde bob, which highlighted her high cheekbones and wrinkle-free face.

“Doesn’t look like her,” one user wrote on Facebook, while another agreed with the sentiment, and a third came to her defense, sharing that she “looks good”.

Sharon has shared her feelings about plastic surgery on several occasions and told New You that she wasn’t interested in undergoing a facelift despite several doctors suggesting it to her.

“I can’t tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift,” she said. “I’ve even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, what are they going to lift?”

“Yes, I have come close – but frankly, I think that in the art of aging well, there’s this sexuality to having those imperfections. It’s sensual,” she continued.

“You can’t treat an illness with cosmetic surgery, and that’s why it would be great if there were qualified therapists in plastic surgeons’ offices, and that people would go to a therapeutic meeting before plastic surgery. I think that should be part of the FDA requirement.”

Sharon later revealed that she underwent cosmetic procedures in her earlier years, like Botox and filler, yet her entire perspective shifted after she suffered a stroke and brain hemorrhage in September 2001.

“I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage, and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” Sharon told Vogue Arabia. She explained how the incident made her see cosmetic surgery as “some kind of massive, painful neurological need” rather than a “cute luxury”.

It took Sharon seven years to recover from the stroke, during which time she suffered extensive financial losses and slipped out of the Hollywood spotlight.

“I had to remortgage my house. I lost everything I had. I lost my place in the business. I was like the hottest movie star, you know?” she told Variety. “It was like Miss Princess Diana, and I were so famous
and we were forgotten.”
