Sharon Osbourne fiercely defended her daughter Kelly Osbourne against weight loss criticism following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
âSheâs lost her daddy,â the âTalkâ alum shared on Wednesdayâs episode of âPiers Morgan Uncensored.â
âShe canât eat right now,â the TV personality continued, stating that âunhappyâ critics use social media as a âshieldâ to spew hate.
âHow many times have we been wrong about somebody because of our perception?â Sharon, 73, asked Morgan, 60.
âBut you and I donât take the point where weâd spend a second â wasting a second of our lives in writing something about them.â
She added, âGoing on their site, taking their time, writing. Thatâs a lot of effort goes into that.â
In a recent social media video, Kelly, 41, sent a message to haters who have commented on her weight loss.
âTo the people who keep thinking theyâre being funny and mean by writing comments like, âAre you ill,â or âGet off Ozempic,â or âYou donât look right,ââ she started her comment.
âMy dad just died, and Iâm doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life.â
Kelly concluded her message by telling the critics to âfâk off.â
Additionally, the âFashion Policeâ alum took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share that critics sending her hateful messages are likely insecure about themselves.
âAll youâve achieved is being a bully,â she said. âItâs sick. Youâre mentally ill.â
âFor example, you say that I look ill,â Kelly continued. âWell, I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down. I donât understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when itâs not.â
The âOsbournesâ alum also stated that it wasnât fair for her to be compared to herself as a teenager because facial structures change with age.
Ozzy Osbourne died in July at the age of 76.
