Serena Williams is keeping it real with her social media followers.
Williams, 43, shared two photos on Instagram of herself on a private jet on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and the tennis legend poked fun at the difference in the two snapshots.
“Instagram Vs Reality,” Williams captioned the post.
In the first photo, which would be the “Instagram” version, Williams, wearing a simple black tank top and her hair down with a fluffy blanket draped over her seat, looks focused and cozy as she works on her laptop from the jet.
In the second photo, which Williams jokingly dubbed the “reality” version of her jet photo shoot, the legendary athlete is seen getting ready to take a big bite of a sandwich as her laptop moves further out of frame.
The fun post was liked by a handful of Williams’ fellow superstar athletes like Caitlin Clark, Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic.

Williams didn’t say where she was headed in the post, but it’s not unusual for her to be jet-setting these days.
On Dec. 9, she and her sister Venus Williams enjoyed a fun trip to Disney World, where they posed for photos in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom and various rides at the park.
The sisters were also joined by their mom Oracene Price, their half-sisters Lyndrea Price and Isha Price and Serena’s daughter Olympia Ohanian, whom she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian.
And even though she’s retired from tennis, Williams said she’s taken up a new sport these days — running.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion told PEOPLE last month that she plans to run a half-marathon race by the end of 2025. “That’s my new goal,” Williams told PEOPLE. “So it’s just like I have to do something competitive. I miss tennis like crazy.”
“I’ve gotten obsessed, more obsessed with diet and exercise, I think, than when I was playing tennis,” Williams told PEOPLE.
“I knew that I was going to burn 20,000 calories a day, and now I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t know how many calories I’m going to be able to burn!’ “
