Serena Williams continues to highlight her 34lbs weight loss, sharing a series of fun images of her looking fabulous in an olive green swimsuit and a wild smile on her face.
The greatest tennis player of all time posed in a backyard, rocking the ribbed suit that featured a sweetheart neckline, and was paired with Ugg slippers and a Barbie pink terry robe.
“I am not perfect….but I’m perfectly me. Take out time today to celebrate being perfectly you!” Serena captioned the post.

Serena has been more confident than ever after losing 34lbs with the help of GLP-1 medication.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner’s transformation began after welcoming her second daughter, Adira, with husband Alexis Ohanian in 2023. The couple are also parents to Alexis Olympia, born in 2017. After finishing breastfeeding in 2024, she decided to explore medical support.

“I never was able to get to the weight I needed to be no matter what I did, no matter how much I trained,” she told People. “It was crazy because I’d never been in a place like that in my life where I worked so hard, ate so healthy, and could never get down to where I needed to be at.
“I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best,” she said. “So it was very frustrating to do all the same things and never be able to change that number on the scale or the way my body looked.”

Serena underwent knee surgery in 2003, and reducing joint load can significantly lower the risk of long-term osteoarthritis.
After starting the GLP-1 medication in 2024, Serena says the results were transformative: “I feel great. I feel really good and healthy. I feel light physically and light mentally.”

“Maybe the best word to describe what I’m up to is evolution. I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me.”

“She is on the list and back in the testing pool,” ITIA spokesman Adrian Bassett stated.
Athletes often reenter the testing pool to return to high-level competition, but Serena was quick to deny the rumors of her return, taking to X to share: “Omg yall I’m NOT coming back. This wildfire is crazy.”
