Selling Sunset‘s Emma Hernan clarified her relationship status with Blake Davies after sparking split speculation.
“We’re on right now,” Emma, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Giving a Smile Foundation gala on Thursday, December 11. “We’re enjoying the holidays together — and we’re very happy.”
Emma teased her holiday plans with Blake. “[I am] definitely going back to the East Coast for family time,” she noted. “Family is so important. So back to the East Coast.”
She continued: “I’m doing New Year’s resolutions. I’m having a whole vision board night. I’m a big goal person.”
Emma’s update about her and Blake comes after several of her coworkers questioned whether they were still together.
“I’m not worried. I’m not worried for Emma,” Mary Bonnet said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio in November. “They are not together right now. Not that I know of.”
When pressed for more details about Emma and Blake, Mary, 45, didn’t elaborate. She did, however, address the drama surrounding Blake’s alleged use of racial slurs.
“I’ll let Emma talk for herself, but there’s a lot more to that story,” Mary hinted. “And Emma has the best heart.”
Emma, for her part, previously defended her relationship with Blake, 27, when season 9 of Selling Sunset premiered in October. Before the episodes were released, Emma’s now-former friend Chrishell Stause accused Blake on social media of using a racial slur and mocking Chrishell’s partner G Flip’s pronouns.
“He did not say that pronouns were dumb. He would never say that. He accidentally said ‘wife’ [about G Flip],” Emma claimed during an exclusive interview with Us in November. “When he said ‘wife,’ I told him and I explained it, and it was the first time he was learning about it and he was trying to be good.”
Emma continued: “It rubbed Chrishell the wrong way, and she’s protective of G and she’s an amazing person, so I don’t blame her for that. But he didn’t mean anything by it. He did not say pronouns are dumb or [were] stupid. I was right there.”
While attending the Giving a Smile Foundation gala, Emma reflected on the difficult aftermath of filming season 9.
“It was a lot. Every season, I feel like it gets heavier and heavier and heavier. But I’m just glad that we’re wrapped and I’m just enjoying my off time. The holidays with family and soaking that up,” she shared with Us. “I’m always a positive person. So I’ll do the positive take on everything.”
Emma hinted she wasn’t sure about her future on the show.
“We’ll have to wait and see. It was a lot with everything that we went through and all that,” she added. “So I think we just have to wait and see what happens.”
