Selena Gomez and Benny Blancoâs second single from their album is here.
The couple, collaborating with Gracie Abrams, released âCall Me When You Break Upâ and the accompanying music video on Thursday, Feb. 20. The bubblegum pop song is the first off Blanco and Gomezâs upcoming album I Said I Love You First.
Gomez, 32, and Abrams, 25, sing in a selfie video for the music video. The promo photo featuring them in matching bobs and T-shirts and Blanco, 36, is giving fans major nostalgia.
One fan photoshopped the Disney Channel logo onto the picture, evoking Gomezâs Disney days. âwait itâs kinda giving âand youâre watching Disney Channel!â lol,â another agreed.
Gomez and Blanco teased new music earlier this year and released their first single from the album âScared of Loving Youâ on Feb. 13. They previously worked in 2015 for âKill Em with Kindnessâ and âSame Old Love,â on Gomezâs album Revival.
Blanco and Abrams, meanwhile, previously collaborated for the 2021 song âUnlearn.â
The musicians spoke with Zane Lowe on Apple Music on their new song and embracing their shared love of music.
âFor as long as Iâve cared about music, both of their work [Gomez and Blanco] has been in my life,â Abrams said. âSo anything that they want from me is a yes forever. And I just felt really grateful for the opportunity. And also just the song was immediately so stuck in my head as soon as I heard it for the first time.â

âAnd of course, the opportunity to write my verse on it just happened so quickly, which I think is such a testament to how addicting the song is I think.â
Blanco raved about working with his fiancĂ©e and how the album came to be. âThis was just an idea that started in our bedroom and it was like, âLetâs just make something fun.â And then it actually was really good, and I was like, holy, we have to do this.â
âAnd all the friends who made this album with us, it wasnât like, âToday weâre getting together and weâre making a hit song.â I would be like, âHey, Julia, Justin, you want to come over? Weâve written for 15 years and so have you with Selena. Everything felt right, and it almost felt too good.â
Gomez felt the same. âThereâs nothing that makes me more proud than to stand by everything Iâve done and love it deeply and really just pour my heart into it,â she told Lowe.
âAnd that applies to everything in my life. And I think this whole experience has been cathartic and beautiful, and I got to do it with my best friend.â
Per a press release, I Said I Love You First celebrates Blanco and Gomezâs love story and gives fans â a unique window into their relationship.â
âThe album came together organically as a direct result of the comfort that they both felt when working together creatively, allowing them to produce art that authentically reflects their experiences. It chronicles their entire storyâbefore they met, falling in love and looking to what the future holds.â
I Said I Love You First drops on Friday, March 21.
