The fashion at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards just hits different.

The ceremony, which highlights the work of Black artists and public figures, also always guarantees show-stopping fashion moments, too.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Calif., drew Kerry Washington, Cynthia Erivo, Chlöe Bailey and more stylish stars.

Actor-comedian Deon Cole is hosting the show, which will be telecast on BET and CBS on 8 p.m. ET. Former Vice President Kamala Harris will receive the Chairman’s Award while the Wayans family will be inducted into its Hall of Fame. The ceremony will also honor residents of Altadena who were impacted by the January’s wildfires.

Ahead, PEOPLE’s picks the best dressed stars at the star-studded ceremony.

Gabrielle Union

The nominee shone in a semi-sheer black and silver dress plus a bouncy bob.

Kerry Washington

The nominee channeled romantic vibes in a 3D rose-covered bra top and high-waist skirt. She amped up the look with aubergine Gabriel & Co. jewelry and loose curls.

Ayo Edebiri

The nominee lit up the carpet in a silver halter dress and sandals.

Cynthia Erivo

The actress suited up for the occasion in a pinstripe design plus a trio of brooches and her signature inches-long manicure.

Terrence J

The red carpet cohost (with Novi Brown) stood out in an on-trend cherry red (it’s the color of the season) tuxedo and a black bow tie.

Zoe Saldaña

The nominee selected a pewter spaghetti strap dress with pleats and several rings for the ceremony.

Chlöe Bailey

The nominee was dressed to impress in a black Gaurav Gupta dress with sculptural champagne panels. She pulled her braids into a sky-high bun and accessorized with Sterling Forever earrings.

Jurnee Smollett

The presenter went for a monochromatic look in a Rhea Costa dress with a matching lip and shoes plus an eye-catching drop necklace.

Laverne Cox

The presenter stepped out in a two-tone design featuring a nude bustier and asymmetrical black skirt. She also dyed her pixie cut — and bleached her brows — for the occasion.

Kingsley Ben-Adir

The actor brought even more cherry red to the ceremony, but paired his suit with a black tie.

Tichina Arnold

The nominee turned up the heat in an embellished hooded dress with a low-cut front and a hip-high slit that gave fans a glimpse of her mesh, open-toe heels.
