Scott Wolf shared a photo of estranged wife Kelley Wolf embracing their youngest son amid the pair’s ongoing divorce battle.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, November 22, the Doc actor, 57, posted a carousel that paid tribute to Miller, 13, on his birthday. The photo series included multiple shots of the youngster with his dad, as well as a tender snap of Kelley, 49, cuddling Miller in a grassy field while both grinning for the camera.
“Mr. Fahrenheit. An American Original. A holder of light. A good time. A divining rod. Proof of life. Proof of love. A pusher of buttons. 85 pounds of vulnerability and courage. A boat AND the deep blue sea. How lucky are we,” Scott captioned his post. “A TEENAGER now. Fastening our chin straps for this one. Happy Birthday, MWW. You are love, you are loved. 💝.”
The photo of Kelley and Miller was taken some years ago given the child’s youthful appearance.
Scott, who also shares son Jackson, 16, and daughter, Lucy, 11, with Kelley, confirmed in June that he had filed to divorce her after 21 years of marriage. Although Kelley posted an Instagram statement of her own that month, referring to Scott as “one of the best fathers” she has known, Us Weekly later confirmed that the Party of Five alum was granted a temporary restraining order against Kelley following her detainment by Utah authorities and subsequent hospitalization.
Scott was also granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of his children, in addition to exclusive use and possession of the family’s home in Park City, Utah.
In August, a Utah judge ruled that Scott’s temporary sole physical custody may be maintained. Kelley was granted “liberal supervised parent time,” per documents obtained by Us at the time.
The drama continued later that month, however, when Kelley was arrested for electronic disclosure of personal identifying information and communication harassment. The following month, Kelley entered a treatment centre, as reported by People on September 7.
Scott’s positive online nod to Kelley is not the first. On October 14, he shared an Instagram birthday tribute to his estranged wife which included a photo of her smiling. “Happy birthday to you. 🎂❤️🩹,” he captioned the post.
Fans took to the post’s comments section to share their approval of his post, much like they did more recently for Miller’s birthday carousel. One follower commented on Saturday, “How so very nice of you to add his mom there regardless of everything’s happening. May God bless you and your family.”
Kelley, meanwhile, has notably dialled down her social media presence in recent months. As of Monday, November 24, her most recent Instagram grid post is dated to June, while her once-regular Instagram Stories have also ceased.
Scott’s social media activity remains limited as the pair’s divorce continues, with the actor making a rare online appearance in October to promote the second season of Doc. “Hey, everyone! It’s Scott Wolf here, and I could not be more excited to share that I will be coming back for season 2 of Doc on Fox,” he said in his video last month. “I cannot wait for you to see what’s coming. It is full of surprises. Thank you all so much for the love and the support, and I’ll see you this season on Fox.”
