- The pair’s relationship was first revealed by PEOPLE in September 2023, but they began dating a few weeks prior on August 17, 2023

Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shiver are going their separate ways.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Chrisley, 27, and Shiver, 39, have split after nearly two years together. The pair’s relationship was first revealed by PEOPLE in September 2023, but they began dating a few weeks prior on August 17, 2023.
Chrisley will open up about the breakup on the Tuesday, April 14, episode of her Unlocked podcast, PEOPLE can confirm.
“I’m doing a solo [episode] because I feel like there’s elephants in the room that clearly need to be addressed,” Chrisley says on the new episode. “I have allowed you guys in on my life and that comes with all the highs and all the lows. I’ve been figuring out how to navigate this stage of my life because it sucks, it hurts.”
“It’s been about a month and a half since Robert and I broke up,” she adds. “So there it is. Robert and I broke up on March 6. Not that I’m keeping track of dates or anything, but I have taken a lot of time to process things and truly grieve the loss of the relationship that I thought was gonna be where I was for the rest of my life.”
Chrisley and Shiver began dating amid challenging legal roadblocks in their personal lives. Shiver’s estranged wife, Lindsay, is currently awaiting trial for allegedly plotting his murder while Chrisley is helping raise her younger siblings, Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 12, as their parents, Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, remain in prison.
Previously, the Good Girl RX helmer told PEOPLE of her relationship with Shiver, “This has just shown me that you can find beauty in the ashes. And so for that, wherever it leads, I’m forever grateful.”
“I’m just so grateful to have such an amazing person in my life that shows up and loves and cares and is a positive influence on the kids,” the Special Forces alum said, referencing Grayson and Chloe. “I want to have as much respect for him and his situation as possible because he has three amazing little boys that are going to have to see and hear things one day.”
Chrisley recently told PEOPLE that she and Shiver had “definitely talked about” marriage.
“We both know, ‘Hey, this is what we want out of life.’ But he’s got some stuff to work through on his side of things before that can ever happen,” she explained, referencing Shiver’s estranged wife’s ongoing legal battle.
“I think what I love is that we’re not even really focused on that,” she continued. “I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, ‘Oh, you’ve been together for two years. You need to get engaged, you need to get married.'”
The Growing Up Chrisley alum added, “I’ve always said, I want this huge wedding. I want all these things. When in reality, I feel like, when you’re in the right situation, you’re in the right relationship, you don’t need all these crazy, outward, extravagant things to prove your love for someone.”
