Sam Asghari seems to have rung in the new year with a new love.
Eight months after finalizing his divorce from Britney Spears, the actor and model, 30, shared several photos with his rumored girlfriend Brooke Irvine on Jan. 1.
“Happy New Year to All 🫶” he captioned the Instagram post.
The post features photos of Asghari getting close to the real estate agent in a tropical locale — including laying together on a palm tree, as well as wrapping their arms around each other. In another picture, Asghari gazes at Irvine and holds her in a mirror selfie.
Asghari also posted an Instagram Story smiling while embracing Irvine, which he captioned, “Happy New Year to Everyone.”
Asghari and Irvine were first linked in November and have been spotted out and about in the L.A. area at a dog park, at Home Goods and traveling at LAX.
The reported relationship comes after Asghari finalized his divorce from ex-wife Spears in early May, following their separation after one year of marriage in July 2023. Asghari and Spears began dating after they met while filming her “Slumber Party” video in 2016; they were declared legally single in December, on Spears’ 43rd birthday.
In November, the fitness model opened up to PEOPLE about beginning a new chapter following the couple’s split.
Asked how he’s adjusted to his new life following his marriage, he explained, “It’s the bed that you make yourself, and you got to learn how to lay in it, so it’s part of the lifestyle.”
“You just got to keep it positive,” he added. “You got to stay grounded and understand what the truth is and really just live with that rather than other people’s opinions or anything like that.”
At the time, Asghari told PEOPLE he’s “absolutely” been able to move on, adding that he was keeping busy on several projects.
“There’s a lot of work stuff that I’m doing that I want to let the work do the talk, and with acting, it’s what comes next and all the work that you’re putting in,” Asghari, who is joining the cast of The Traitors season 3, shared. “So I did a few projects and very excited to announce it.”

Asghari also reflected on his marriage to Spears in an interview with PEOPLE in March.
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart, and people move on,” he said, adding that he holds no ill will towards his ex.
“I’ve always hated people leaving a certain relationship — and at some point they told each other they love each other and they sat at the same table and ate food [together] — so I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other,” he said. “That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that’s always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
