Estranged couple Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher subtly shut down rumors that their divorce is getting messy.
On Sunday, the exes proved they are keeping things cordial after Cohen complimented Fisherâs Valentineâs Day Instagram upload.
âStunning photoshoot,â the âBoratâ star, 53, commented under a photo of the actress, 49, sprawled out on a bed in a pink mini dress.
Fisher replied, âthank you đ.â
The friendly exchange came days after the Daily Mail reported that their split took a nasty turn and âany remaining veneer of civility has gone.â
According to the outlet, Cohen was left âfuriousâ and âutterly betrayedâ over his estranged wifeâs Feb. 8 interview with the Sunday Times.
However, an insider shut down the report, telling Page Six they are on good terms as they continue to hash out an agreement regarding their $75 million fortune.
âAll divorces have their challenges, but things have gone pretty smoothly with Isla and Sacha,â the source said.
âTheir announcement was well coordinated and struck the right tone [with] their tennis photo, they both have made their kids a priority.â
Along with their most recent social media activity, the insider also noted that Cohen âlikedâ Fisherâs Instagram post about her Times interview as a âsign of support for her.â
In the profile, the âWedding Crashersâ star opened up about her parentsâ divorce and how she hoped to model her split from Cohen after them.
âIt was very harmonious,â she recalled. âI donât ever remember them fighting about anything. They were very inclusive of each other. Thatâs the dream.â
While Fisherâs divorce from the comedian has been one of âthe most difficult thingsâ she has been through, she also âlearned so much about [her]self in the process.â
âI never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents,â the actress said.
âWe are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible.â
The former couple announced their split in April 2024 after Page Six learned they quietly filed for divorce one year prior.
âAfter a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,â they wrote in a joint statement at the time.
âIn 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.
âWe forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our familyâs wish for privacy.â
The two, who first met at a party in 2001, share kids Olive, 17, Elula, 14, and Montgomery, 9.
