Ryan Reynolds has responded to Martha Stewart’s claim that he’s “not so funny in real life.”

“I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once,” the “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, 48, tweeted Saturday under a video of Stewart, 83, speaking about his humor on Bilt Rewards’ November “Rent Free” game show.

He added, “The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”

The lifestyle guru made the comments about her longtime friend and neighbor while trying to guess who the respondents of a Bilt Rewards survey said would be the most fun celebrity to spend time with.

“He’s probably on the list just ’cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she asked.

“And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

She doubled down later in the video, adding, “He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny.”

“Maybe he can get to be funny again … I’m going to get in trouble,” she laughed.

Of course, Stewart meant no harm by bringing up Reynolds, as the pair go way back.

They became acquainted more than a decade ago when Reynolds and his now-wife, Blake Lively, 37, purchased a home near her Bedford, NY, farm.

The “Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen” author told HuffPost in 2014 that they’re “very friendly, very nice people” and even called the “It Ends With Us” star “shy.”

“I’ve only ever found her to be completely generous and kind,” Lively said of Stewart during an interview with the Los Angeles Times in July 2014.

“She’s one of those people who connect people with each other.”
