Rumer Willis shares first glimpse into new home with toddler daughter after cross-country move

Rumer Willis has shared the first glimpse into her new chapter with her daughter Louetta.

Earlier this month, the The House Bunny actress, 38, announced that she was moving across the country to Nashville, Tennessee.

The move comes two months after she was awarded primary physical custody of her three-year-old, who she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas, and over  a year after first moving out of Los Angeles and to Idaho, where her family has long had secondary homes.

Taking to Instagram, Rumer shared a glimpse into her first two weeks living in Nashville with Louetta, sharing photos of the toddler in her new home.

She included photos of her new bed, out shopping for furniture, she and Lou in matching swimsuits at the pool, as well as some boxes still left to unpack.

“Our first two weeks in Nashville…” Rumer wrote in her caption, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it.

“Have a great start!” one wrote, as others followed suit with: “Looks like a great week!!” and: “She is just the most darling little girl!” as well as: “Off to a great start, Rumer. You’ve got everything you need.”

As part of her custody agreement with Derek, though Rumer has primary physical custody, she and her ex will share joint legal custody, and both will undergo a custody evaluation, plus Derek, a musician, was granted parenting time every other weekend beginning June 20.

Recently speaking on an episode of The Inside Edit podcast with her best friend, stylist Maeve Reilly, about how her relationship came to an end, Rumer confessed to the host: “Your wedding literally was a huge reckoning moment for me in my life. I heard your vows and I just realized that the situation I was in was never going to look like that, no matter how much effort I put in.”

She continued: “I was just watching you guys, just weeping, holding my child, and I just thought, you know what? I need to have more value for myself.”

“I need to go and like, leave, no matter how scared I am and find something that looks like this, because I want that,” she further recalled thinking. “Literally, it was such a huge reckoning and massive moment for me so I will always be grateful.”

Rumer is the eldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, who were married from 1987 to 2000, and who are also parents to daughters Scout Willis, 35, and Tallulah Willis , 32.
