Hello, and welcome to a new week – and to HELLO!‘s live blog!
I’m Eleanor, and I’ll be bringing you all the royal family’s news this morning.
It’s a very exciting week for the royals as it’s the first major week back at work after the summer break.
We’re expecting to see Duchess Sophie, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, who are visiting the Bayeux Tapestry, after the King and Queen’s visit there last week.
Over in Europe, Princess Leonor of Spain has her first day at university, while King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are starting a multi-day regional tour.
Meanwhile, preparations are continuing for King Harald of Norway’s state funeral on Wednesday. Over the weekend, it was revealed that Prince William will be representing King Charles, who was the late monarch’s second cousin once removed. Princess Anne will also be attending in a personal capacity.
Prince Harry and Meghan are also settling back into life in the UK – we shall bring you the latest when we get it!
