There are plenty of pop culture witches who have made their mark, though one that holds a special place in â80s kidsâ hearts is Louise Miller from Teen Witch.
Despite not being a huge box office success at the time of its 1989 release, itâs lived on as one of the more memorable depictions of teenage witches â and to celebrate the filmâs anniversary, the cast reunited.
On Oct. 24, Robyn Lively posted photos of herself with her former costars, adding side-by-side shots of the cast in the late â80s and now.

âI can hardly believe itâs been that many years that we made this unsuspecting treasure,â Lively captioned the post, which started with a side-by-side of her and onscreen love interest Dan Gauthier.Â
âHaving the opportunity to meet so many of you that love this film, to read your delightful and sometimes heart wrenching comments here⊠you guys will never know how much it means to me,â Lively continued. âSo thank you, for sharing a piece of your heart and experiences with me! Teen Witch fans are the absolute BEST! You have my heart!â
Teen Witch followed 15-year-old Louise Miller (played by Lively) who discovered she was the reincarnation of a 17th-century witch after developing powers on her 16th birthday. She used these newfound powers to bring herself the popularity and love sheâd desired from her peers, thanks to a little help from seer Madame Serena.
With these powers, she cast a love spell on her high-school crush, quarterback Brad Powell (Gauthier). In between musical numbers and moments of onscreen magic, Louise eventually tries to reverse the teenage dreams sheâs manifested into reality with her magic.
Lively has previously admitted that despite not gaining notoriety at the time of its release, it continues to be one of her most recognized roles.
âTeen Witch holds the number one spot for decades now,â she shared with PEOPLE. âNothing compares. People absolutely love that film, and itâs resonated with so many generations. I had no idea when we were filming it that it would end up being ⊠I just had no clue. Itâs so dear and beloved to me because of that.â
