Rihanna made her baby daughter, Rocki, feel like she is the only girl in the world in honor of her first birthday.
“Who let me have a daughter, bro?” the “Disturbia” hitmaker, 38, joked via Instagram alongside a trove of rare photos and never-before-seen home movies on Saturday, September 26.
In one clip, Rihanna’s friends and family cracked up as Rocki tried on one of the singer’s full-sized wigs, with one of them joking, “I’m sorry, baby!” (Rocki turned 1 on September 13.)
Rocki also had her first experience on a red carpet — albeit the home playset version — as she donned a yellow furry robe with pink lining and a tiara to pose in front of a faux backdrop of flashing camera bulbs.
The 1-year-old already has an eye for style too, as Rihanna shared a clip of Rocki crying when she briefly took away a designer handbag that the baby was exploring.
“Can I have my bag please? Let mommy have it. Thank you so much,” Rihanna asked her daughter as Rocki started to cry.
Another major milestone involved Rihanna teaching young Rocki to wave and say “hey” to the camera. Rocki even joined her mom for a glam session with Fenty Beauty products — though Rihanna did have to stop her little one from putting one of the products into her mouth.
“The most perfect girls,” Euphoria’s Storm Reid replied in the Instagram comment section.
Holly Robinson Peete was equally as excited for the birthday photo dump, commenting, “Omgggg 😍😍😍😍”
Earlier this month, Rihanna’s bestie Melissa Forde shared a sneak peek at Rocki’s first birthday party, where mom and daughter wore matching bubblegum pink outfits. Rihanna stunned in a pastel babydoll dress featuring spaghetti straps, a ruffled neckline and a pleated, loosely fitted bodice, accessorized with matching shorts, diamond earrings, black sunglasses and a matching anklet.

Rihanna announced the birth of her daughter Rocki Irish Mayers in September 2025, after revealing at the Met Gala the previous May that she and partner ASAP Rocky were expecting baby No. 3. (The couple also share sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2.)
Fans may soon have a musical comeback from Rihanna to look forward to. In January, a source exclusively confirmed to Us that “Rihanna is, and has been, working on an album” ten years after the release of her eighth studio record Anti in 2016.
“It’s taken many forms because she’s scrapped a ton of music that she’s made over the years. She basically had an album done at one point, and then she decided to start fresh,” the insider revealed, clarifying that “at no point has she put it aside completely — not even while pregnant or a new mom.”
Rihanna has yet to announce a release date or title for her ninth studio album.
