Mauricio Umansky has returned to the slopes after a ski accident caused him to undergo surgery to repair a broken clavicle.
This time, he skipped the skis — and the shirt — opting to hit the slopes on foot with a pal.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, posed with his (also shirtless) friend, entrepreneur Abe Issa, for a series of Instagram posts on Monday, Feb. 24, where they traded back-and-forth quips.
“Here we go,” Issa said.
“Let’s go!” Umansky added.
“Hikin’ Smuggler, hello,” Issa said, referencing the popular Aspen hiking trail, Smuggler Mountain Road, which is known for its views.
“Broken clavicle,” Umansky responded after pointing to a beige strip on his collarbone.
“F— that s—,” Umansky blurted, as Issa said it was “healing.”
“Rock and roll, let’s go,” Issa said, as Umansky repeated, “Let’s go.”
They next shared another shot, captioned “first hike post clavicle injury,” while both men wore white baseball caps with no shirts. Umansky wore what appeared to be black compression pants and black shirts, while Issa wore gray cotton shorts.
The real estate agent and Buying Beverly Hills star first shared the news of his injury on Feb. 14, when he posted a photo in a hospital gown and wearing a breathing tube. He later shared an update that it was a “clean break” but he’d still undergone surgery to have a metal plate put in, as well as 12 screws.

Falls and collisions are a common cause of a broken clavicle, the Cleveland Clinic explains, adding that it can take right to 12 weeks for adults to recover. Surgery — like Umansky had — is generally only required if there are other injuries, or the patient sustained a “severely displaced clavicle fracture.”
“I expect a speedy recovery. The doctors and nurses at Aspen Valley Hospital are the best,” Umansky said. “I was wearing a helmet and that for sure saved me.”
Umansky and his estranged wife, Kyle Richards, have a home in Aspen, which is where they spent the holidays this past December with their three daughters — Alexia Simone, 28, Sophia Kylie, 25, and Portia, 16.
