Reneé Rapp Shares Her Go-to Products Including the One That Makes Her Look ‘Like I Put in Effort’ (Exclusive)

For Reneé Rapp the journey from Broadway to Hollywood was like “being shot out of a cannon.”

The 25-year-old actor and singer-songwriter, who played Regina George in Mean Girls the stage musical and in Tina Fey’s 2024 film reboot, climbed the pop charts just as quickly with her 2023 debut album, Snow Angel, followed by a duet with Megan Thee Stallion, “Not My Fault.”

Now the fearless, outspoken star (who promises new music on the way) is breaking into the beauty world as a global brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, a title she still “can’t believe.”

“When I think about the integrity of what I do, I really care about trying to reach the most people,” she says of the partnership. “A global outlook is inclusive—plus, I like being in good company.” That company includes A-list faces like Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne. “And don’t forget Viola!” Rapp says. “I would lay my life on the line for Viola Davis.”

Rapp practices a less-is-more makeup approach when she’s off duty. “It’s all about quality,” she says. “When you’re using quality products on your face, you don’t need a ton of other s—.”
