Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s children made a rare red carpet appearance together over the weekend – and the family resemblance was impossible to miss.
Ava Phillippe, 27, and her younger brother Deacon, 22, joined their famous mom at the world premiere of Deacon’s new movie Brother Save Us during the 57th Nashville Film Festival on September 26. Reese’s mother, Betty Reese, also joined the family for the special occasion.
The foursome posed together on the carpet, with Ava looking particularly like her Oscar-winning mom thanks to her blonde hair, bright smile and similar features.
Ava wore a sleeveless striped mini dress in soft neutral tones, styling her blonde hair in loose waves around her shoulders.
Standing beside her, Deacon bore a striking resemblance to his actor dad Ryan, with the same fair coloring and defined features.
He opted for a tonal brown look for his big night, pairing a chocolate T-shirt with a shimmering brown suit.

The outing was particularly meaningful for Deacon, who was celebrating the world premiere of Brother Save Us, marking his feature film acting debut.
The dystopian sci-fi drama follows brothers Cole and Nat, who are living on a struggling farm in the Midwest as the world around them begins to crumble.

Deacon has already dipped his toe into acting, appearing in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever and the series Motorheads, but Brother Save Us represents his first feature film role.
Ava, meanwhile, has followed a slightly different path. While she has grown up around Hollywood, she has generally maintained a lower profile than her parents, although she has worked as a model and regularly accompanies Reese to high-profile events.
Reese and Ryan met while celebrating the actress’s 21st birthday in 1997 and married two years later, shortly before welcoming Ava. Deacon followed in 2003.
The former couple announced their separation in 2006 and their divorce was finalized in 2008, but they have continued to co-parent their two children.
Reese later married talent agent Jim Toth in 2011 and they welcomed son Tennessee in 2012. The pair announced their divorce in 2023. Ryan also has a daughter Kai, 15, from his previous relationship with actress Alexis Knapp.
