Ree Drummond’s oldest daughter, Alex, shared an exciting update about her only daughter.
Alex Drummond Scott, 27, took to Instagram on the morning of Friday, April 4, to tell fans about 3-month-old Sofia’s growth.
“So proud of this lil’ peanut’s growth!!” the mother of one wrote on her Instagram Stories. “She was born tiny at 6lbs 3oz and dropped to 5lbs 6oz right after birth (if you didn’t know, babies lose weight right after they’re born!)”
“Now she is 13lbs 3oz!!” wrote the Pioneer Woman star’s daughter, continuing that she went from being in the 10th percentile “in everything” at her two-week appointment to the 42nd percentile in weight and 74th percentile in height. “may be tall like mommy?”
“Makes me so happy to see those numbers climbing! Just needed a little time to play catch up,” she concluded.
Sofia was born on Dec. 18 and is the Food Network star and her husband Ladd’s first grandchild.
The family has been actively updating followers about the baby’s progress and Ree frequently posts pictures and videos as a proud grandmother.

Recently, on Sunday, March 23, the celebrity chef shared a video of herself singing and tickling a giggling Sofia.
“When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion,” Ree captioned the video. “I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven… I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.”
