Anna Faris is a Real Housewives superfan — but she’s not sure she’s ready for a call from Andy Cohen.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 48-year-old actress revealed that she hasn’t “tried to do a guest appearance” on any of the Bravo reality shows because the idea of appearing as herself is daunting.
“I think I would freak out. I would, because I’m sort of fundamentally uncomfortable being myself. I like to hide behind a character,” Faris says while promoting her new partnership with Scrubbing Bubbles.
Over the years, a number of celebrities have made guest appearances on Housewives shows, among them Jamie Lee Curtis, Kris Jenner, Steven Tyler and Boy George.
Asked which of the franchises is her favorite at the moment, Faris gave a shout-out to Salt Lake City, which aired one of the most talked-about finale episodes in Bravo history in January 2024.
In the explosive season 4 ending, which drew more than 2 million viewers, it was revealed that rookie cast member Monica Garcia was allegedly behind the Housewives-focused troll account Reality Von Tease, which had launched “character assassinations” — as Heather Gay put it at the time — against several members of the friend group.
“Man, they do a good job,” Faris says of the RHOSLC cast, before sharing some of her other reality TV must-watches. “I’ve been loving Below Deck, all Bravo, Love Is Blind.”
“The whole gamut,” the Mom star adds. “I’m in!”

Elsewhere in her conversation with PEOPLE, Faris opened up about how her work with Scrubbing Bubbles was a welcome “mental distraction” when she lost her home in the Los Angeles wildfires in January. She says she shot a campaign for the brand a week after her Palisades house burned down, and was “grateful” for the chance to throw herself into the project.
“It was amazing to have the mental distraction of shooting the campaign and getting to laugh. Be just completely distracted from the jarring reality,” she recalls.
“I’m aware of how fortunate we are,” she adds. “But it was, and still kind of continues to be a little bit surreal, so I’m really grateful.”
The Real Housewives air on Bravo and are available to stream on Peacock.
