Princess Beatrice‘s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has quietly made an under-the-radar move this week after the couple faced reports of “distance” in their marriage.
The property developer, 42, who married into the royal family in 2020, has discreetly removed his most recent Instagram post, which featured his recent trip to Los Angeles.
In recent weeks, Edoardo visited LA with his company, Banda Property, which has kept the footage up. The video, captioned “life is not a movie”, showed Edoardo strolling down a palm-tree-lined street on his latest business venture.
His most recent grid post, shared on 25 January, is now more than two months old. Though he has posted temporary “stories”, there has been no permanent post since Beatrice’s father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested in February.
Beatrice and Edoardo share two children, Sienna, three, and Athena, one. Beatrice, 37, is also stepmother to Christopher, also known as Wolfie, from Edoardo’s previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.
Denying the rumours
Earlier this week, Beatrice and Edo put on a united display as they were spotted dining together at Eel Sushi Bar in Notting Hill.
The outing came just days after friends of the couple exclusively told HELLO! that reports of them facing marriage difficulties were “not true at all”.
A source said the couple, like many others, are “balancing” physical distance because of work with family life, after Edo was spotted taking a number of trips overseas.
They said: “The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children! They’ve both had recent stints working abroad and like so many working parents, have balancing work with looking after the kids.
“Recent reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance because of work!”
Exciting new projects
As CEO and founder of Banda Property, Edoardo has a very busy schedule on top of being a father of three. This week, his company teased an array of exciting upcoming projects, including transformations in Miami, Mumbai, New York, Dubai, Milan, Surrey and the Cotswolds. Plus, they also have a private jet project in the works.
Twice already this year, Edoardo has travelled to Fisher Island Club off the coast of Miami to oversee an exciting project there. In February, he shared numerous photos and videos from his time abroad on Instagram. At the time, he penned: “Recap of our time in Miami and Palm Beach. Meeting inspiring people, visiting remarkable places, and discovering exceptional art and craftsmanship.”
