Good morning, royal watchers! Today both Prince Edward and Princess Anne are heading North for their engagements. Edward will visit Brookes Bell, Exchange Flags, attend a lunch at the Athenaeum and visit HMS EAGLET in Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne will be in Shropshire, attending a Reception to mark the 125th Anniversary of Harper Adams University in Shropshire and Fordhall Organic Farm to mark its 20th Anniversary. We’ll also been keeping an eye on the Braemar Literary Festival where Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles is making an appearance.
Yesterday, the sad news broke that Mike Tindall’s father Phil has passed away aged 80. Mike revealed the heartbreaking news on a new episode of his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby. “Unfortunately, my dad passed away last week,” he told his co-hosts before going on to thank Otley Rugby Club in West Yorkshire following their special tribute to Mike’s dad.
