Prince Harry took his 5-year-old son, Prince Archie, surfing in their home state of California.

Harry, 40, was seen with Archie at the Kelly Slater Surf Ranch in the city of Lemoore alongside professional surfer Raimana Van Bastolaer, who has since scrubbed a photo of the outing from his Instagram.

In the since-deleted snap, which a Harry fan account reposted on the social media platform Tuesday, the father-son duo was seen sitting together with Van Bastolaer on a jet ski as they all smiled and flashed shaka signs.

The Duke of Sussex sported an all-black wetsuit, while Archie wore a bright blue one.

Though it is unclear why the image vanished, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have mostly kept their children — including their 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet — out of the limelight.

Van Bastolaer, however, kept the remainder of his content with Harry on his page.

In several still shots, the prince was seen riding a massive artificial wave.

Since he and Markle, 43, stepped down from their royal duties and moved from London to California in early 2020, Harry seems to have become friends with Van Bastolaer after the Duchess of Sussex reportedly bought him surf lessons for one of his birthdays.

In fact, Van Bastolaer posted a snippet of one of Harry’s lessons in October 2024, which he captioned, “In tahiti, we still call you Prince harry but at surfranch, it’s my Brother. It was an honor to have you surf with me & @kellyslater @michaelanders_ at @kswaveco.”

In the clip, the renegade royal was seen pulling away from Van Bastolaer’s jet ski as a wave began to appear before leaping atop his board and showing off his skills.

Harry and Markle most recently released a rare picture of their kids as part of their 2024 Christmas card, but Archie and Lilibet’s faces notably were not shown.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the message read.

The card featured six photos, including one showing the young prince and princess with their backs to the camera as they ran toward their parents.

Other moments captured in the card included the “Spare” author and the former actress, who launched an Instagram account Instagram Wednesday, attending several philanthropic events.
