Prince Harry has reportedly not spoken to the his father, King Charles III, since returning to the UK two weeks ago.
The Duke of Sussex has not scheduled a call with his father since informing him that he was moving back to England with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, royal sources told the Mirror Tuesday.
Charles was on a summer break at Balmoral in Scotland when his estranged son told him of his and Markle’s shock move, per the outlet.
Royal sources told the outlet that said Charles and the rest of the royal family has been “blindsided” by the Sussexes’ move.
The monarch allegedly feels “perplexed” that Harry has kept him informed about the family’s plans.
“Harry has spoken openly about desperately wanting reconciliation and yet he is the one keeping his father and his family in the dark about major developments such as moving back to the UK,” a source told the outlet.
“Such behavior just makes it harder to deal with the Sussexes or know their true motives for moving their entire lives back to Harry’s homeland. The whole family are perplexed about the situation.”

On Monday, Charles broke his silence on his son and daughter-in-law’s move back to the UK and have an update on their royal status.
The 77-year-old confirmed the Sussexes will not be working royals carrying out official engagements now that they’re back in England, according to a letter sent on behalf of Charles by the family’s lord chamberlain, per the BBC.
The letter said Harry, 41, and Markle, 45, cannot use their titles of His and Her Royal Highness and are “private citizens with commercial and charitable interests,” a top palace official told the outlet.
The couple returned to England two weeks ago with their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, for an “extended period” — six years after they quit their royal duties.
