The Sussex kids could be making their way across the pond soon.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markleâs children â Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4 â are one step closer to having a reunion with their paternal grandfather, King Charles III, in the UK after the Duke of Sussexâs security battle breakthrough.
The UKâs Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) is now conducting a full-scale review of Harryâs security to reassess his threat level, according to the US Sun.
The UK government reportedly collected evidence from the âSpareâ authorâs team and the police; and their decision will be announced next month.
âThe UK Governmentâs protective security system is rigorous and proportionate,â a UK government spokesperson told People.
âIt is our long-standing policy not to provide detailed information on those arrangements, as doing so could compromise their integrity and affect individualsâ security,â they added.
Page Six has reached out to Harryâs rep but they declined to comment.
In May, Harry, 41, lost his appeal challenging the UK governmentâs decision to strip him of his publicly funded security after he stepped away from royal family duties and moved to North America.
Since the Invictus Games founderâs move, he has been estranged from his brother, Prince William, and their father, Charles.
In 2023, Harry released a tell-all book and Netflix show about his family issues, which caused the rift to widen.
Though he stated that his father wouldnât speak to him, Harry and Charles, 77, reunited for the first time in over a year during the dukeâs London trip in September.
A source told Us Weekly that there were reportedly âhugs and tearsâ and the âmood was genuine and positive.â
Harry slammed reports that his reunion with his dad was âdistinctly formalâ and left him feeling more like an âofficial visitorâ than family.
Before this year, Harry and the monarch had not met up in person since February 2024, when Charles announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
